Lenovo launches laptop, smartphone

Welcome to the lenovo press event at the ifa technology show in Berlin.

The Chinese company used the event, held in an old industrial building on the edge of the city, to show off its latest member of the Yoga laptop family.

The Yoga 920 is a so-called 2-in-1 device, it can be folded out like a laptop or when folded together it becomes a tablet computer.

The device will sit at the top of the Yoga brand as its flagship device.

It comes with a 4k display and the Microsoft voice activated assistant Cortana.

It also supports the Yoga pen, but the pen itself has to be bought separately.

For Star Wars fans there will be a line of Yoga 920 computers with Star Wars designs.

The Yoga 920 will be available in September and it will come in three colours: platinum, bronze or copper and will cost $1330 us.

Lenovo also used the Berlin event to show off the latest smartphone from its Motorola brand.

The Moto x4 is a mid-range smartphone that will be available in September for 399 euros.

It comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a dual 12 and 8-megapixel rear camera - which is pretty standard for a mid-range device.

But the Moto x4 also comes enabled with Amazon's personal assistant Alexa.

It is also the first smartphone to be able to multi stream up to four bluetooth enabled devices, such as speakers or headphones.
