The June 24 poll results posted by Turkey's Supreme Election Council on Wednesday mirror the numbers broadcast by Anadolu Agency on election night.

Earlier on Wednesday, the head of the Supreme Election Council revealed the final results of the June 24 presidential and general elections.

Sadi Guven said President Recep Tayyip Erdogan won the June 24 presidential election with 52.59 percent votes.

Erdogan's top rival Muharrem Ince lagged behind at 30.64 percent, Peoples' Democratic Party's (HDP) jailed leader Selahattin Demirtas received 8.40 percent of the vote while the Good Party leader, Meral Aksener received 7.29 percent.

The Felicity Party leader Temel Karamollaoglu received 0.89 percent votes while Vatan Party chairman Dogu Perincek received 0.20 percent of the votes.

The ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party garnered 42.56 percent of votes (295 seats), the Republican People's Party (CHP) 22.65 percent (146 seats), the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) 11.10 percent (49 seats), the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) 11.70 percent (67 seats) and the Good (IYI) Party 9.96 percent (43 seats).

The June 24 vote marked Turkey's transition to an executive presidential system of government, doing away with the prime minister's post, among other changes.
