The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) on Monday said it provided food and blankets to 210 Syrian families in Lebanon.

According to a statement by TİKA, the families in Harisa region, north of Beirut, were given about 7.5 tons of food and 420 blankets.

The statement said the food would be enough to cover two months of basic food needs of each family.

TİKA has spearheaded several projects in Lebanon.
