A local court in southeastern Turkey sentenced Thursday two PKK terror suspects to 10 months in prison for making terrorism propaganda, according to a judicial official.
In the case of terrorism propaganda involving 13 suspects, Diyarbakir's 4th Heavy Penal Court handed down 10-month jail term each to Mehtap Yılmaz and Mustafa Asan.
Yılmaz and Asan were charged after they were found selling an alleged propaganda magazine -- Kovara Jinen Azad (Free Women Movement).
Helin Tokan, the magazine's editor-in-chief, was released on bail, said the official, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on talking to the media.
The court also ruled the release of other 10 suspects, including Ayla Akat, the grant holder of magazine.
Akat is former southeastern Batman deputy of the opposition Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP).
The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the EU and U.S. -- has killed more than 1,200 Turkish security personnel and civilians since taking up arms again.
