Anadolu Efes thrash Fenerbahçe 92-73 in EuroLeague semi-final
Anadolu Efes advanced to Turkish Airlines EuroLeague final first time ever after beating Fenerbahçe Beko 92-73. American basketballer Shane Larkin shined like a star in semi-final game with his 30-point performance as his team claimed a decisive victory over Istanbul rivals on Friday.
Final Four's first match at Fernando Buesa Arena in the Spanish city of Vitoria-Gasteiz, Anadolu Efes defeated Fenerbahçe Beko 92-73 to reach the final.
Anadolu Efes' top scorer was Shane Larkin with 30 points, making tough shots throughout the match that broke Fenerbahçe defence.
On Sunday, Anadolu Efes will face the winner of CSKA Moscow and Real Madrid semifinalists.
This year was Fenerbahçe's fifth consecutive Final Four ticket in the league. Fenerbahçe won the EuroLeague title in 2017, but lost in 2016 and 2018 in the final game.
This is Anadolu Efes' first EuroLeague final in its history.
This year is the first time ever that two Turkish clubs have advanced to this level, making Turkey the fifth country to accomplish the feat since 1988 after Spain, Italy, Greece and Russia.
The final match will be played on Sunday.
