Robert Lewandowski became the all-time top scoring foreigner in Bundesliga history on Saturday with Bayern Munich's second goal against Wolfsburg.

The Polish striker netted his 196th goal in the German league having drawn level on 195 with Werder Bremen veteran Claudio Pizarro a week ago.

Pizarro, 40, became the oldest Bundesliga scorer with his most recent goal against Hertha Berlin but Lewandowski, aged 30, has time on his side in this particular duel.

Lewandowski has 122 goals for Bayern, having previously scored 74 for Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund. He sits third on the Bayern all-time list behind Karl-Heinz Rummenigge on 162 and Gerd Mueller's 365.
