Derby fever in Turkey's Super Lig

Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş will do battle in Istanbul on Saturday in the Turkish Super Lig's 6th match week.

The league's sixth week will kick off on Friday with Trabzonspor taking on Alanyaspor.

On Saturday, fifth-placed Medipol Başakşehir will go to Ankara to play Gençlerbirliği, who struggled in the first five weeks and have only accumulated one point so far.

The derby between Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş will kick off at 7.30 p.m. local time (1630GMT).

Beşiktaş are currently on second place behind Galatasaray, who accumulated same amount of points but lead the league on goal difference.

The Black Eagles are unbeaten in the league, having won four times and drawn one time to have 13 points.

City rivals Fenerbahçe have not made a good start to the season, only racking up eight points and standing in 8th place.

On Sunday, league leaders Galatasaray will take on Bursaspor in an away match at 7.30 p.m. (1630GMT).
