Israeli forces on Thursday arrested three students from a middle school in the West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to witnesses.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that Israeli army personnel had raided the Saad al-Aas School in Bethlehem's town of Al-Khader, where they arrested two sixth-graders and a ninth-grader.

Before withdrawing from the area, army troops fired several sound bombs into the school, witnesses said.

Israeli troops sporadically raid Palestinian schools in the occupied West Bank on the pretext that students have thrown stones at Jewish settlers.
