Izmir Bird Paradise in Gediz Delta, which is one of the most important wetlands in the world, offers its visitors unique beauties at sunset with 291 bird species, mainly flamingos and pelicans.

The bird sanctuary, which hosts many birds such as flamingos, pelicans, swans and herons as well as various species of plants and animals, provides its visitors with an insatiable cruise especially at sunset.

As the day turns into the night, residents of the delta create beautiful images at the sunset glow.

The worldwide touristic spot, which is one of the most important wetlands in the world and therefore has national and international protection status, houses a total of 291 bird species as breeding and year-round life center.



In the delta, which has salt production areas, grasslands, wetlands and agricultural areas as well as many other ecosystems, it is possible to see a large number of bird species and wild horses, including many mammal species.
