Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and French President Emmanuel Macron spoke by phone on Thursday and stressed the importance of developing economic and trade ties and boosting bilateral investment, a Turkish presidential source said.
The two leaders also agreed to have Turkey's Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak meet with his French counterparts at the earliest opportunity, said the sources, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
