The Turkish Red Crescent aid organization, Kızılay, has delivered over 150 truckloads of aid material in a month for Syrians struggling under the shadow of conflict.

The latest delivery includes winter clothes and blankets, as well as staple food products, the aid organization said in a statement on Tuesday.

At least 188 trucks reached Syria's Idlib and Latakia in the last month, not far from the Turkish border.

While continuing to ease life for around three million refugees inside Turkey, the aid organization is doing its best to keep nearly seven million internally displaced Syrians alive.

The country has been locked in a devastating conflict since early 2011, when the Bashar al-Assad regime cracked down on pro-democracy protests with unexpected ferocity.

Since then, hundreds of thousands of people are believed to have been killed and millions more displaced by the conflict.
