Berlin's Tegel and Schoenefeld airports have temporarily suspended operations due to a storm sweeping through northern Germany.
Passengers who have recently landed are being held in their aircrafts for security reasons, while passengers due to fly are not allowed to board planes, an airport spokesman said.
