Eight teams -- including Istanbul's Beşiktaş -- are guaranteed a last-16 Champions League place after Tuesday and Wednesday's group matches.

Beşiktaş, Tottenham, Real Madrid and Manchester City booked their ticket to the next round in Tuesday's matches.

Istanbul club Beşiktaş became the first Turkish team ever to win their group after a 1-1 draw with Porto in the sides' Group G clash at Vodafone Park.

Tottenham also clinched top spot in Group H, after beating Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in Germany.

Real Madrid, beating APOEL 6-0, clinched the second spot in Group H.

Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who contributed two goals in the match, broke his own record to score the most goals in a calendar year with 18 so far in 2017. His previous record was 16 goals back in 2015.

Manchester City defeated Feyenoord 1-0 on Tuesday to win all five matches in Group F.

On Wednesday, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Barcelona made it through to the next round.

English club Chelsea defeated Azerbaijan's Qarabag 4-0 to increase their points to 10 in Group C, four points ahead of third-placed Atletico Madrid.

In-form French giants Paris Saint-Germain continue with their goal scoring, as they defeated Scottish champions Celtic at home on Wednesday with a thumping 7-1 result.

PSG also broke a record with 24 goals in Group B, the most goals ever scored during a Champions League group stage.

German powerhouse Bayern Munich are also through after defeating Belgium's Anderlecht with a 2-1 score on Wednesday.

In Group D, Barcelona drew goalless with Juventus and increased their points total to 11, four points ahead of third-placed Sporting Lisbon.

The sixth and final match week of the Champions League group stages will continue to Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 5 and 6.
